I am running postfix on a suse box. Everything has been working well, but the past few days the server has been pulling our DSL line down, as soon as I unplug the mail server the line is up.

How can I check if anyone is relaying through the server. I suspect that maybe someone has sent a large mail through the server, and is not using the smtp server in their mail client settings from their ISp, but putting my mail server in the outgoing server settings.

This used to be a production server, but now only handles mail for a handful of people.

well you look at the mail logs, that's what they're there for. should be /var/log/maillog
