Postfix logging to both /var/log/mail.log and syslog

Hi everybody,

I have a working mail server on Ubuntu 12.10 server. It is based on Dovecot, postfix, amavis, spamassassin, clamd.
My problem is that I see the mail logs in /var/log/mail.log and in the syslog as well. I am not sure if this is normal or not. The mail logs are flooding my syslog, so I would like to see those messages only in /var/log/mail.log and not in the syslog. Is this possible somehow?

You decide where each log goes in /etc/rsyslog.conf or /etc/syslog.conf depending on which logger you are running.

I have the line:

*.info;mail.none;authpriv.none;cron.none        /var/log/messages

to log important stuff other than mail, auth and cron to messages.
