postfix - is there something like "time - to - send"

hi !

we want to get rid of troubles resulting from clients configuring email-clients.

so there shall be a webinterface for email. i thought about postfix + cyrus_imap + hordescript ( tests will show what script they want ) ...

while most features of a outlook/thunderbird - like mail workflow are covered ,

one feature, some might know from outlook, is still missing:

the ability to send an email at a given time

so one can "proof" , she/he was in the office the whole night, by sending the email at 5 am.

maybee with special text in the subject-line, which is the stripped of ...

but in the end , i have no clue how to ralize this. Has anyone an idea on howto come closer to this.....

thank you

MsO doing delayed sending isn't related to the MTA, AFAIK the message resides on the client. With Webmail everything is stored centrally. Since Horde allows you a database backend maybe it would be easy to store a message, link a timestamp in the future to a certain message, build a reaper to check a timestamp table at intervals, and do sending by impersonating?
