hi,

after a long time searching around i finally managed to setup imap-courier + postfix + mysql working together,

the login finally works, now using postfixadmin i created a user, after creating a user it says "user added succesfuly"

now after solving the login problems, i can finnaly login but then i get shutoff
in my /var/log/maillog
it says this:
well i thaught i could easly fix this.. so i created the dir /contact (i previousely created the domain dirs manually)

after creating manually it says this:
what am i doing wrong?
i'm using FreeBSD 6.1 system, and i think i might not know how to add users for imap courier

PS: the mysql database has everything setup correctly..

same problem existed for me, I use SUSE,and unfourtunately Maildir cannot be created automatically, if there is anyone that can answer I wiil be pleased, because, courier and related things are installed, in a book it says postfix creates Maildir automatically, I thought there is a problem on postfix configuration,I changed and look again again, but nothing happened,everything looks well,but Maildir cannot be created, is there anyone that can help about this

Please post your main.cf with comments truncated and your master.cf.

Also did you created your dir through 'maildirmake' since you said you are using courier-imap? Like the following:

# su - virtual_mail_user
$ mkdir yourdomain.com/userdir
$ /full/bin/path/maildirmake yourdomain.com/userdir/Maildir
$ /full/bin/path/maildirmake -q 10000000S yourdomain.com/userdir/Maildir

-q is the specified soft quota incase your database table is included with quota field.

Is your system as well built with courier-authlib that is dynamically linked with mysqlclient for mysql authentication support and with maildrop?
