Postfix Hostname / domain name configuration problem.
Dear Gurus,
As i have configured Mail Server with Postfix,DoveCot with Web Email client Open Webmail on Fedora,
When Creating new email from Open webmail my my email Address shown as
myname@mail.mydomain.com in From Field.which is wrong as its should be myname@mydomain.com. please tell me where i have to change in configuration file.thnaks.
My hosts file configuration is
vi /etc/hosts
# Do not remove the following line, or various programs
# that require network functionality will fail.
127.0.0.1 mail.mydomain.com mail
192.168.1.10 mail.mydomian.com mail

host file configration porblem but donsn't solve my problem.
My hosts file configuration problem,i have change it to .

# that require network functionality will fail.
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
192.168.1.10 mail.mydomian.com mail
~
~
then
#service network reload
#service postfix reload
But when go to open webmail for creating new emails i see the same problem.In From email address .
myname@mail.mydoman.com.Please guide me what i have to do after changing the host file.which service need to reload to update my hosts configuration to email address.

If i remember i think you can change the email configuration at the file :

but i have no virtual host configured on apache.Please tell me where will be the problem???????

Sorry i made an error in the command, you have to look at :

You can remove the # in front of:
mydomain = yourdomain.com <- set domain here
myorigin = $mydomain
in postfix's main.cf
