Postfix forward mail

Hi, good day to all of you.

I have a Red Hat Enterprise 4 machine running as mail server for posftix and dovecot.

my question is:-
1) how do i forward all the mails send to user1 to another user account, say user2 (within same domain).

Please advice.

Million Thanks!

That is a bit complex and depends on how you have it configured. Try checking the Howtos at postfix.

It is very dependent on how you have configured your mail system.

if you love man pages ... look for virtual and forward ...

from memory, if you have something like this in your
virtual_alias_maps = mysql:/etc/postfix/
alias_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/aliases, mysql:/etc/postfix/
you can just define a new alias in /etc/postfix/aliases and re-run newaliases (make sure it acts on the right file though).

Good luck
