Postfix, clamav, amavisd
 

Hi everybody,
Please I need all of your help in my problem below.
I know TODAY! that earlier versions of clamav entered the EOL time. and they are useless now.
But, I didn't know that only today, and I have emails being deferred by postfix because "I think" it has something to do with amavisd and clamav.
How can I make the deferred messages leave the before-queue and goes back without any amavisd tags so the postfix system can release them.

I removed any configuration related to the amavisd from my master.cf and main.cf so it wont be monitored by clamav until I upgrade it.

But the most important step for me is to deal with the deferred messages.
Please help me.

You could have simply turned off virus checking in amavisd and all mail would have been delivered. Hopefully, all clients have virus protection on their workstation as well.

BTW please mark the thread SOLVED if your problem has been resolved.
