The following log reminded me the clamav or amavisd has some problem:
clamav/clamd (Can't connect to UNIX socket /var/run/clamav/clamd: Connection refused) at (eval 89) line 310.
Mar 31 14:31:48 gateway amavis[8781]: (08781-06) (!!)ClamAV-clamd av-scanner FAILED: CODE(0x96ccde8) Too many retries to talk to /var/run/clamav/clamd (Can't connect to UNIX socket /var/run/clamav/clamd: Connection refused) at (eval 89) line 310. at (eval 89) line 511.
The /var/run/clamav/clamd is exist and clamd folder is full contorl permission.
Check if the following condition (quoted from amavisd.conf) is met:
Quote:
# # NOTE: run clamd under the same user as amavisd, or run it under its own
# # uid such as clamav, add user clamav to the amavis group, and then add
# # AllowSupplementaryGroups to clamd.conf;
You also need to make sure that the setup for the socket is the same in amavisd.conf and clamd.conf. If you make the changes in the post above, make sure that the various directory/file permissions are correct (just changing user groups won't change existing files)
