I have a two node cluster which used RedHat Cluster Suite and it runs a jsp application on it. And also application rely on a SAN which is formatted using gfs2. We are using piranha as the load balancer, and it works fine. Sometimes we will have to restart our jsp application, because its getting stuck. So at that times what i do is just deactivate the hanged server from real servers in virtual server menu in piranha admin console and restarts the pulse daemon on load balancer. and again after the jsp application started i activate the real server in the same location and restart the pulse daemon in load balancer. in that case when i restart the pulse daemon all the users connected to both jsp servers are disconnected from the system. that is a problem. i even tried with reload option in pulse daemon but that also doesn't work. is there any other way of doing so without effecting to other users. I mean without restarting are there any other option which can effect the changes we've done to the piranha?
