personal streaming video server/"netflix" server?
 
i would like to host audio and video files over the internet so that i may access them while at work/share with friends, what would be the best way to achieve this?

looking for something like ampache for video, could i host mediatomb over apache?

For being a newbie, your best bet is to run either an icecast server, or use VLC. There are many tutorials online to do so...

These answers are terrible. (no offence)
Youtube clone site source code needed.
Edit: Library managment, favorites, queuing, etc, I swear Ive seen something recently that was All this. Ill reply if I recall it.
