Oracle 10g R2 Installation Problem
 

Greetings All !

I have RHEL AS 4.0 Update 5 running on Itanium-based HP rx7640. Even after performing all 10g pre-installation tasks, when I try to runInstaller I get the follwoing message from the JVM:-

#

I checked on the java that comes with the OS. The output of 'java -version' command is given below:-

java version "1.4.2"

There is no way I am able to start the OUI and proceed. Pls. help
