Your machine is using DHCP, it's recommended you make a static IP connection, that's what it's telling you.
Hello,
r u installing the oracle 10g R2 on standalone linux server, or on VMware?
if on standalone linux server u just assign any private ip to server.
if on a vmware, u need to give the linux an ip that is on the same range as the window ip. (n.b: u can skip this error when u r installing oracle on vmware)

Hi,
first you should read all information on Oracle Website regarding installation to met the requirements. Als there is a nice website http://www.puschitz.com which contains detailed step by step descriptions on how to install Oracle 10g/11g on Linux.
Also you are free to contact Oracle and RedHat support to solve your issue. If you do not have RHEL support please install CentOS, if you do not have Oracle support, good luck.
