and all is work, client windows can login with user ldap. but i want to make home directory in windows ldap sycn if client use other pc.
can my server do that?
please give me some advice. sorry for my bad english :D
LDAP is not a filesharing protocol; But you've stored the credentials in LDAP.
The homedirectory does not reside in LDAP, nor in Kerberos for that matter.
So, you'd need a windows logon server, so that you can have windows use the SMB protocol to have their home directories on a differentl location than the desktop.
Samba can do that for you; and so you don't have to synchronize the homedirectory, as it is not stored on your client pc.
You then have control over whether or not you need to synchronize that data over different servers...
so i must create samba direcorty with file in /home for file sharing?
whether another user can log in to another user's home directory ?
