Openldap 2.3 to implement group policy

Hi all

I am working in an environment wher ther is no Domain. I have Mail server running Zimbra on Redhat Linux, DNS, DHCP server running on Redhat linux, VPN server running on Windows 2003, also some of the clients running on Windows and some of them are running on Linux. I want to implement a domain environment using Openldap on Linux. Can you please tell me whether it is possible to implement Group Policy like Windows ADS in Openldap, also clients, both windows and linux will Login the Openldap domain. If possible plese tell me the way to configure.
