open media vault

Hello Users.
Merry Christmas and happy new year.
I want to launch a NAS and I choose "open media vault". I installed it on my server but when I want to make a filesystem, I can't see NTFS options :(. I want to make NAS for windows clients and my clients used Windows 7 and XP, Any idea?

Thank you so much.

The client does not actually access the file system on the sever. Use the linux file system that you are most familiar with.

In a nutshell, the client and the server use the SMB/CIFS networking protocol to send data back an forth and the server does the reading/writing to the file system.

If I choose EXT4 filesystem, Windows client can map my partition and read and write?

Yes, I'm not familiar with open media vault but once you set up the share you should see it in network neighbourhood in windows.
