We are running BIND as our DNS service. We have to deploy Office Communications Server 2007 R2 and Microsoft advised us to insert the following records [as you have guessed, they insist on deploying Windows DNS, but we don't want to do that]:
Code:
SRV for _sipfederationtls._tcp.<sip-domain> /resolving to Access Edge FQDN
SRV for _sip._tls.<sip-domain> /resolving to Access Edge FQDN
A for accesssrv.<sip-domain> /resolving to Access Edge Public IP
A for av.<sip-domain> /resolving to A/V Edge Public IP
We have created all these records in BIND. We just want to know if anybody runs a similar configuration and if there are any additional records that should be placed somewhere.
FYI, we have tested the records internally [not externally from the Internet] and we did not have the opportunity to test our configuration.
