NTP issue


HI,

one of the SUSE machine has NTP issue, whenever i restarted the ntp service it update the time from NTP server and after sometime a hour or later system time got changed +30min higher from normal time,

when i dig into the logs it shows,

10 May 02:12:52 ntpd[20603]: frequency error -512 PPM exceeds tolerance 500 PPM
10 May 02:14:59 ntpd[20603]: frequency error -512 PPM exceeds tolerance 500 PPM
10 May 02:22:29 ntpd[20603]: frequency error -512 PPM exceeds tolerance 500 PPM
10 May 02:23:34 ntpd[20603]: frequency error -512 PPM exceeds tolerance 500 PPM
10 May 02:43:59 ntpd[20603]: no servers reachable

Can you post the /etc/ntpd/ntp.conf
