My friend,

I am having trouble understanding your English. Are you asking what the difference is between installing linux on a SCSI and installing to IDE/SATA?

If so, then there is no difference other than old kernels cannot see SCSI devices so you may need an initrd image. Newer kernels do not have this problem.

Regardless, most recent linux distros include a GUI installer that does all the hard work for you.

Well, are you going to reword or leave it at that ??

You have not provided enough information. If the linux distribution you want to install has support for your SCSI controller then it really depends on where you want to put /usr /var etc.
