no email functionality on self-hosted wordpress site
I host my own Wordpress 2.8.4 site and recently discovered that new user confirmation emails, as well as Contact Form 7 plugin emails were not being sent even though the end users were being told that they were. The server is running Ubuntu 8.10 and Apache 2.2. I have attempted to send emails to both gmail and aool accounts with no luck.
Let me know if code segments/settings are needed in order to resolve this.
