NIS: error message coming after executing "/usr/lib/yp/ypinit -m"

Hi
A list of error message comes when ypinit build nis database. Please have a look below for more detail:-

[root@linuxserver1 ~]# /usr/lib/yp/ypinit -m

At this point, we have to construct a list of the hosts which will run NIS
servers. linuxserver1.cheemas.com is in the list of NIS server hosts.

Please continue to add
the names for the other hosts, one per line. When you are done with the
list, type a <control D>.
next host to add: linuxserver1.cheemas.com
next host to add:
The current list of NIS servers looks like this:

linuxserver1.cheemas.com

Is this correct? [y/n: y] y
We need a few minutes to build the databases...

linuxserver1.cheemas.com has been set up as a NIS master server.

Why it is coming please advise. Ironically I am able to login on another linux machine with nis user id. Note: I am implementing this on RHEL 5.

The problem arise when your machine failed to identify itself by 'localhost' name. just make sure you define back the machine as localhost and everything should work fine.

thnks

Thanks pal you find the root cause I modified the host file entry mistakenly. The problem was ip 127.0.0.1 was resolving my host name so I changed the host name to localhost.localdomain localhost and problem has been resolved. Thanks once agin for your assistance...
