Post NFS server


In my pc i am installed rhel 5.1 server then copied image of cd in /var/ftp/pub for nfs installation.Then i export /var/ftp/pub.strta nfs service.Finally i tried Nfs installtion in other system but couldn't mount from yhe server error will appeared.how to clear this problem

Can u mount ur exported file system from any linux machine???

try following to check /etc/exports is configured correctly

#showmount -e localhost


if posible please share /etc/exports snaps...........

Do you mean 'the image' of the cd or 'the contents' of the cds/dvd? You can also try 'iptables -F' for the purpose of the installation...
