nfs: Provider for facility portmap not configured.

Hey everyone
I'm having a little problem with one of my servers. This server is being set up to remote boot nodes using tftp/dhcp and nfs root. The original sever worked using Debian but got fried during a thunderstorm. I decided to resurrect the cluster using Source Mage, so I could optimize the source for the system. I compiled the kernels, set up tftp and dhcp, the nodes will boot, but kernel panic when they can't mount root. The problem lies in NFS. I get this error message when starting it:
Code:
root@srv7:/# telinit run nfs restart
nfs: Restarting false...
nfs: Stopping NFS services
nfs: success: unexporting filesystems
                                                 nfs: warning not_running: killing rquotad
nfs: nfs: Provider for facility portmap not configured.
I cannot find this exact error message anywhere. I'm using the latest source, nfs-tools 1.1.2 and portmap 6.0.

Any help would be appreciated

Thumbs up

Solved my own problem. Sometimes you forget the simplest things, like <i>installing the init script</i> for portmap! Guess I'm too used to distros doing stuff themselves. System's up and running great now.
