The process to do this with RHEL5 is the same as atleast RHEL4 (personal experience).

(this is specific to AD, but I recommend you read more of the SAMBA guide in the same place as it will give you a grounding for what is going on)

) Not sure if you are using Win2k3R2 or pre-R2, but there are resources at the same site for pre-r2.
Again, don't be too concerned with the version of RHEL as the config files are the same across many versions of RHEL and Fedora - I assume other distros too - but don't have experience with those.
