Dear All,
I have a RHEL5 Server with Squid Installed on it. Squid is serving well till now and i love it . Before i Put up a question the scenario is as below.
A. RHEL5 Server running Squid with Apache
B. Network which is having DHCP Ip address assignment from ISP Router terminated at our office.
C. The router serves internet by default on 192.168.1.1
I want to :-
A. Make RHEL server DHCP Ipaddress Assignment with network starting from 192.168.1.X. I need to configure DHCP.
B. I want clients to inehrit Squid Ipaddress for internet and i want it on port 3128 as default as i wont be using transparent proxy. It has been setup with user authentication.
C. I also want to assign one Private address to one of the Lan (NIC) cards . It has 2 LAN (NIC)cards.
D. I want a wirelss (Cisco wirelss aceess point) to get Ipaddress from RHEL DHCP , but then the client who uses wireless should be able to get authenticated in Squid
I would be obliged if experts point out , help out in the matter above.
Thank you in Advance.
