Question need Sendmail Mrtg howto

Hi all,

I have configured RHEL4+SNMP+Sendmail+MRTG 2.10.x and it's running. But the problem is that i want to graph (locally) Sendmail's mail-IN and mail-out(OR SMTP-IN,SMTP-OUT connection in number/seconds) to my mail server. Other MRTG graphs are woriking fine.
I followed this link
http://www.movement3.com/docs/Graphi...+with+MRTG.pdf

BUT

problem is that I couldn't telnet to the service port that was created (#telnet 127.0.0.1 7256) according to this tuto on above link.

I have tried some port based mrtg like ipt2mrtg (which is independent of snmp, just needs mrtg and iptables and its good to graph any port based mrtg) and it only shows the Bytes/sec so i acctually needs
If any body have configured the sendmail mrtg graph it would be gr8 for me.

Many Thanks in advance.
