Sure. Set bridge mode in VMware then point your VM guest to your LAN router and let it handle DHCP requests?

I set in bridge mode. After that it's getting DHCP IP from WAN, not LAN. How to point VM guest to my modem's LAN IP? I am using internet via USB modem.

Please be specific. What does "it" here mean?

If with "act like a LAN" you mean it is part of a separate LAN (that is: not the LAN your VMware server resides in) then why not make that LAN use its own DHCP daemon? That's how VMware server sets things up by default anyway IIRC.
