have you talked to your paid for Red Hat representative
or are you tiring to use the UNSUPPORTED and NOT UPDATED " free" RHEL 5
if so , then are you using the cent repos
if you are using the red hat repos then call your tech support.

Hi John

Yes I'm using free RHEL 5.0 distro as oracle db servers which need to setups as a cluster. Well I have rhel 5.0 5th cdrom which having cluster suites but it has many rpms like gfs, cim etc. etc.. so it gives me confustion that which rpm should i choose to install and which is not necessary. And if i take the help of YUM command for avoiding confustion then YUM gives me some libraries dependency issues while installing cluster suite via it. Although except cluster suite I am able to install another packages like "zsh" in my rhel 5 via yum command.

Thanks & Regards
CJ

so i take it you ARE using the "free" unsupported and NON-UPDATED rhel5
i would suggest you use the recompiled rhel5 ( without the red hat logos) code
Called CentOS 5.3
