MySQL Master-Slave Replication - How to make the slave read-only?

I have setup master-slave MySQL replication, I would like to make sure, that slave database cannot be modified by clients but replication should be done from the master. Is there any way i could make it "read-only"?

Thanks in advance

Why didn't you prevent clients from modifying the Slave by granting the only SELECT privileges for them.

Edited: Take a look at --read-only option: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/...sqld_read-only
