my ddns service is not update.

well, I config the DDNS server by learning the DHCP.conf's man.

The dns and dhcp service is ok.

but when I test the DDNS service , the dhcp work well,but DNS can not update.

the file of /var/log/messages tell this:

Nov 15 15:37:41 localhost dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:50:56:c0:00:01 via eth0
Nov 15 15:37:42 localhost dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 192.168.1.11 to 00:50:56:c0:00:01
(liushumantou) via eth0
Nov 15 15:37:42 localhost named[2424]: client 192.168.1.10#32770: update 'mtls.c
om/IN' denied
Nov 15 15:37:42 localhost dhcpd: Unable to add forward map from liushumantou.mtl
s.com to 192.168.1.11: timed out
Nov 15 15:37:42 localhost dhcpd: DHCPREQUEST for 192.168.1.11 (192.168.1.10) fro
m 00:50:56:c0:00:01 (liushumantou) via eth0

my DNS and dhcp is in one computer , Its ip is 192.168.1.10.
the above ip 192.168.1.11 is an ip,which a guest get .

The relation of the /etc/named.conf is :
key DHCP_UPDATER {
algorithm HMAC-MD5;
secret qhB++OR5yWo8BTXwk/m4ng;
};

zone "1.168.192.in-addr.arpa" IN {
type master;
file "1.168.192.zone";
allow-update { key DHCP_UPDATER; };

zone "mtls.com" IN {
type master;
file "mtls.com.zone";
allow-update { key DHCP_UPDATER; };
};

dhcp.conf is :

key DHCP_UPDATER {
algorithm HMAC-MD5;
secret qhB++OR5yWo8BTXwk/m4ng;
};

zone mtla.com. {
primary 127.0.0.1;
key DHCP_UPDATER;
}

zone 1.168.192.in-addr.arpa. {
primary 127.0.0.1;
key DHCP_UPDATER;
}

the last: my dns is run by the named user, and dhcp is run by root.

help me ,thank you very much!

1st, Welcome to LQ.

Sorry, no one else has tried to help you for so long.

I don't really know the solution, but I think I can guide you in re-working your post to fix its problems.

Please try to implement my suggestions by using the "Edit" button -- it's good practice.

Suggestions:
  • Learn to use the "Code:" block feature for file contents & CLI output. You have at least 3 items in your post that should be in "Code:" blocks, please fix these. One of the reasons for using them is embodied in my phrase "at least 3" -- w/o them your post is so unclear I can't easily tell how many you need.
  • Fill in your profile & keep it up to date.
  • Which of the many DDNS services are you using?
  • How did you test it?
  • How do you know "The dns and dhcp service is ok."? -- How did you test that.
  • Does "the named user" mean "the user, named"? Remember, in English "named" is a perfectly good word that actually makes sense in your original sentence. In fact, I didn't think of what I now believe you really meant until approx. my 5th reading of your post.
  • Commas have spaces after but not before. Not a big deal, but your text is a bit jarring to the eye.

Hope someone will see this & your repaired post, & give you some help.
