munge authentication?

okay so this is my set up:
i have multiple linux servers (CentOS and Ubuntu) that are bound to Active Directory for using login credentials. i have another server called Homedir where i am trying to store the user home directories. this server is setup as an nfs share server, so that it is auto discoverable. in my /etc/samba/smb.conf file, i have specified the template homedir = /net/homedir/home/%D/%U

when the user logs in, the home folder is created but the permissions are all messed up on the folder:
drwxr-xr-x 2 nfsnobody nfsnobody 4096 Mar 5 07:58 bsmith

i need it to change the ownership of the folder to that specific user, when they login. i was told that munge authentication will do this, but i have no idea how to use it.

so apparently munge will not work for this. can anyone think of a way to fix this issue?
can someone help me solve this issue?

well the system that is going to create those directories needs root access to that share in order to create them right, as /home will be writable to root only. You could tweak this slightly using the wheel account etc, but essentially it's the same thing. If you know which server is going to be doing this then you can restrict it fairly well with nfsv3 export definitions, but it's not really that nice. The alternative would be to proactively check for new accounts and create them in advance on the server. That way you wouldn't need to give out root access over NFS.
