multiple nis -> ldap kerb transistion

i am looking for suggestions on how to efficiently migrate multiple nis+autofs to be managed by ldap+kerberos.

i have about 8 or more nis domains that i would like to consolidate. i would use ldap to hold the user list. there would a equivalent kerberos realm for each nis domain, that is,

nis domain a, would have a kerberos realm
nis domain b, would have a kerberos realm,

would the above implementation style work, is there a better way to do it? would appreciate suggestions, pointers to docs, etc

thank you

kerberos, ldap, nis
