Max size limitations of LVM and software RAID

Can someone point me to where I can find-out the maximum size LVM and/or RAID (the software mdadm kind) and present? I've tried several different Google searches, but I can't seem to get the right terms to get a reasonable reply.

Nevermind... Novell's wiki says regarding LVM2:
Physical Extent size: Default 4MB, range from 8KB-16GB in powers of 2. There is no limit of number of extents in LVM2, therefore there is no need to adjust the extent size for large volumes

Hooray! I don't have to try to implement GPT!
