Managing Two ISP's with Load Balancing on a Squid Proxy Server.

Dear All,

I am currently using a proxy server on a centos machine,
i have 2 ethernet adapters, one for ISP and one for local network.
Now,our firm has ordered a new ISP connection to run simultaneously with the one running now.

This is the task i want to achieve:

1) Can i configure two networks on the same proxy server (provided i add one more ethernet card.)

2) Can i load balance the bandwidth of my users, so that both my ISP networks are used equally.

3) Can i also use this server so as it automatically switches to one ISP network if the other is down(i.e. the load is automatically switched on one ISP)

Please help me in achieving this task.

Thank You in Advance.

I know this can be done with a smoothwall box and possible untangle too, I'm sure it's possible with your current setup but I have not tried it.

Jordan.
