mailserver setup suggestions please

I would like to use postfix, dovecot, mysql for inbound and outbound mail over two servers I have setup (failover solution).

1. I would like server1 (primary) to send and receive mail and server2 (failover) to also get a copy of all mail(in and out) and take over mail services if server1 has a hardware failure of sometime and is offline for a day or two.

currently I do have heartbeat setup on the servers to manage virtual IP between the boxes.

idea anyone on LQ?

Have a look at http://www.howtoforge.com. They have a bunch of easy to follow step by step, copy/paste guides to install and configure just the thing you need. When you have a problem following one of those guides, feel free to post your problem/question here.
