As i see it for mail delivery to work one needs to create a local user on the linux box for each email address.
Is there any other way to setup an MTA without using local users on the linux box?
If you have any questions I may be able to help you out (a little) I just did this last weekend... but haven't actually added more than one virtual mailbox. Learning as I go.
Another question: I read some of that documentation and it works with virutal domains. I mean , i have my canonical domain, with local unix users, and i can setup virtual domains with virtual mail boxex.
Can i add virtual mailboxes for my canonical domain? I know that i can cut the login for the local unix users ( but i made those users in the first place to make email addresses work, to setup aliases, for the vacation program)
Second question: How can i use the vacation ( or anyother program like that) with virtual mailboxes?
