log with bind ( chroot )

I configure named.conf

logging {
channel query_logging {
file "/var/named/data/logs/query.log" versions 5 size 100M;
print-category yes;
print-severity yes;
print-time yes;
}; //query log

channel log_file {
file "/var/named/data/logs/named.log" versions 5 size 100M;
print-category yes;
print-severity yes;
print-time yes;
}; //named log

category default {log_file;
default_syslog;default_debug;};
category queries {query_logging;
default_syslog;default_debug;};
};

and

[root@kiwi logs]# pwd
/var/named/chroot/var/named/data/logs
[root@kiwi logs]# ls -l
total 8
-rw-rw-rw- 1 named named 0 Dec 7 08:41 named.log
-rw-rw-rw- 1 named named 0 Dec 7 08:41 query.log
[root@kiwi logs]#

but in named.log and query.log don't have everything.
Please advise.
Thank you

I don't think it's possible to use both syslog and a file to log bind operations (at least without defining a syslog channel). So use the following to see if it works:
Code:
...
category default {log_file;};
category queries {query_logging;};
Read this for more info on bind logging.
