Linux to Windows 2003 AD, unable to ssh to server

I have my RHEL 3 box joined to my Windows 2003 R2 domain. I can run kinit and connect and I can run wbinfo -u and see all the users on the server. When I try to SSH to the linux box it fails with the following error in the logs

Feb 12 16:18:33 flpap101 sshd(pam_unix)[1299]: check pass; user unknown
Feb 12 16:18:33 flpap101 sshd(pam_unix)[1299]: authentication failure; logname= uid=0 euid=0 tty=NODEVssh ruser= rhost=ip-216-37-19-40.nframe.net
Feb 12 16:18:33 flpap101 pam_winbind[1299]: user 'FLPROD\robn' granted access

Any ideas what I'm missing to make this work?

Thanks

I can also run smbclient and connect to the c$ share...

I'm not familiar with rhl3, that said, I would look in /etc/pam/shh see what is in that file. Look to see if windbind is in any way required for ssh sessions.
