Linux raid / md127
Hello,
Last week I added a fourth disk to my RAID 5 setup using the guide on http://scotgate.org/2006/07/03/growi...5-array-mdadm/ Unfortunately, I forgot to update my /etc/mdadm.conf and rebooted like that. Now, the raid set is identified as /dev/md127. Code:
[root@mastodon ~]# mdadm --detail --scan --verbose System info: Code:
[root@mastodon ~]# uname -a Code:
[root@mastodon ~]# mdadm --version Thanks in advance, Pika |
This is a similar problem to one I just experienced, I solved it by reading here:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.p...1#post10907831 And for more information this: http://www.ducea.com/2009/03/08/mdadm-cheat-sheet/ Specifically I ran: Code:
mdadm --detail --scan >> /etc/mdadm.conf |
Just run:
Code:
echo 'DEVICES /dev/sd* /dev/hd*' > /etc/mdadm.conf |
