Unhappy Linux OpenSUSE - Hg - Username not specified in .hg/hgrc. Keyring will not be used.


Hi

OS: OpenSUSE 11.3
User running apache: wwwrun
Logged in user: root
Mercurial version: 1.5

I'm running the following command in Mercurial (Hg) but getting a message. Anybody know how to resolve it.

Username not specified in .hg/hgrc. Keyring will not be used.http authorization required

Hi,

Try putting the username in front of the http URL:
Code:
hg clone username@http://testvm99.tsh.company.com/hg/TestHgRepo1/ StarRepo
That will ask you for the according password. Or set up your user that Mercurial should use, follow for example this link.
