Linux Machine Configuration

Hi All,

I am new to this Forum and also to Linux.

I want to setup a Linux Box with Tomcat 6.x server in it.

This box will become a server to host many tomcat applications.

Hence i need configurations and memory management for the same.

1) Red Hat Enterprise 6
2) 64-bit JVM
3) 4GB RAM

I have no idea about memory management on Linux. Can someone give me pointers to do the same.

Thanks

I would first check out the Red Hat Documentation it is pretty thorough, and with anything related to JVM setup/usage I would refer to the technical docs.

http://docs.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Re...nux/index.html
