Issue with assessing a samba share

Hello all, I might have an interesting one here.
First a bit of background.
I have a linux router that doubles as a wins server with 3 different subnets. subnet 1 is home to both my samba servers, subnet 2 is for general access, and the third is purely for testing.
That said, I have a win7 box I use as a A/V system that accesses both the servers for movies and music. This system was on the 1st subnet and has since been moved to the second, however something broke. I can still access the second server just fine but I can not access the 1st. Ping is fine, and i have compared both smb.conf files for the servers and find no difference as well as the config file for the wins server. i believe it is an issue with the 1st server but to cover all the bases I have removed the stored user/pass on the A/V system and have dis/reconnected all shares. no change in status.
Any ides would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Did you change the WINS entry for the win7 box to the IP address of the WINS server on the new subnet?
