So what, exactly, is your problem??? Sounds as if DHCP is working
EXACTLY the way it should. DHCP doesn't know about other devices on the network...it doles out addresses from the pool it knows about. If you go an arbitrarily grab an address from the non-reserved range, it has no idea, since that's not something it knows about.
Or do you mean that you get a DHCP address which is *THEN* duplicated, after some time?? Your question could be read either way. And after you being here for
FIVE YEARS now, you should know to provide details and ask clear questions. Also, you tend to not even reply to threads/questions after posting them.
