Installing RHEL 5 64 bit problems

I am currently running rhel 4 64 bit on a HP dl380 G5 server and was trying to install rhel 5 64 bit but it keep telling me the system has to be 'switched' to 64 bit. Any one know what this means or what I need to do?

Thanks!

Where are you seeing this message at during the install? And are you trying to install RHEL 5 as a base install or as virtual server? More details get better replies.

It appears right after the disc loads. It says you must use a 32bit version of the os or switch to 64bit.

This is base install on the server.

Thanks!
