Talking installin xen and runnin g suse on it ?


hello

is there any one here who can gide me to a how-to about

installing

managing Xen

under suse

and
installing suse on the xen virtual machine

Hi sezam2,

Log in as root. Type yast2 on the console and then click on 'software management'. You should a section called 'xen'. just install everything in it. Then reboot. You should see an entry in the grub (if everything goes right) that says xen. Boot from that section and log in as root in gui. On the console type 'xenman' (I am preety sure this is the correct command) and a wizard will start making the vitual machine for you.

it doesn't work

i avoided that by using yast2 virtual machine manager graphical interface ( i hate that i wan do every thing in console mode)

if you don't mind i have some few more question

1) I deactivated my graphical card in the new virtual machine so i can

get access to it

with ssh mode

but i do not know how to do that

2) when i opened yast2 virtual machine manager i found after booting on xen

xen
Domain 0 // wich is taking from 200 to 748 Mb of my RAM (and it is 748)
OPensuse //that i added

ah knew that domain zero is the virtual machine server


but for the rest


i start loosing hope that somoen is goining to answer
