IMAP problem

I have Debian Lenny running courier IMAP, Postfix, and Squirrelmail. recently I decided to add virtual users. Now when i try to access my mailbox it says "NO Unable to open this mailbox." I've looked for an answer through Google but i haven't been able to find one. Please help.

Take a look at the maillog for the exact error i suspect it is due to your imap server not being able to access your mailbox either due to a permissions problem or the mailbox not existing.

I know there is a mailbox as it gave me a different error when it didn't exist. I have set and reset the permissions and owners recursively.

I feel kind of stupid. Apparently, all i needed to do was send an email to the user. Then postfix automatically sets up the mailbox correctly.
