I am trying to install iFolder Enterprise server on Ubunbtu 7.10 (Server edition). I have been following the instructions published on the Ubuntu community site at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/iF...terpriseServer
. The installation has gone smoothly as described, until the final stages of setup of "Setup iFolder Admin WebAccess" which calls for editing of /etc/apache2/conf.d/ifolder_admin.conf to comment out the line "LoadModule rewrite_module /usr/lib/apache2/mod_rewrite.so". I have done this, but on restart of Apache2 I get 3 critical error messages "Failed to create shared memory segment for XXGLOBAL", and similarly modules "admin" and "simias10". The text in the file suggests all succedding lines should be commented out - I can then start Apache, but on shutting it down the above messages reappear. The next stage - setting up iFolder WebAccess" has the same problems / outcome as a result of commenting out "LoadModule rewrite_module /usr/lib/apache2/mod_rewrite.so" and suceeding lines in /etc/apache2/conf.d/ifolder_web.conf .
I can log into the server as "admin", create an account from which I can log-in as a user, and this appears to work correctly. Clients (from Windows) can login to the accounts, but are unable to synchronise which may be due to the above installation problem.
Any help / guidance on how to proceed from here to correct these problems and so bring the iFolder Server into service would be much appreciated!
