Hi Experts,

Yesterday our Linux Server /tmpfs going to 100% for many time.

Users are not accessing for this Server,that particular time server was no load .but the /tmpfs will be high.why?

what was the correct reason for this issue.

Something filled up your disk, that's the "correct reason".

But since you don't say anything about your Linux version/distro, what's running on the server, your disk layout, or give any useful information, that's the best answer you can get.

You've got a good sized /tmp, but you still don't say what's running on the server. Does this happen the same time every day? How often does it happen? Have you checked with the users, to see if anyone is running jobs that could cause this?

And specifically, is this a database server?

SAP ECC6 & Oracle 10.2 is running this server.

Spell out your words, please.

If I had to guess, it's something to do with Oracle. Your DBA's should be able to get in touch with Oracle, and get them to diagnose what's going on. I've seen this before when backups/dumps were getting run.
