I upgraded from 12.x to 14.04.01 LTS

I upgraded from 12.x to 14.04.01 LTS and now the system will not come out of maintenance mode. I have rebooted several times and I get the same thing when I try to get to my website. I have tried fsdk and recovery and neither work.

The Actual message is: An update has been applied to the system but the system hasn't been taken out of maintenance mode. Please contact site Administrator to correct this issue.

Any help would be great. Next step; format

Thanks

Not that I had run into this issue, but I did come across this with complaints that appear to be similar.

NetEng1, Thanks but that did not fix it. I guess format new is the only real choice.
