I can't get a config file my.cnf in mysql-server


Hi All,
I am the new user of linux and when installing mysql-server by this command sudo apt-get install mysql-server. Installaton is complete but i cant get a my.cnf file. Can anyone tell, what is the mistake i did and how to overcome from this error. Here, i am posting the results

sam-osm@dhcppc4:~$ sudo nano /etc/mysql/
conf.d/ debian.cnf

/etc/mysql/ ?

sudo vi /etc/mysql/my.cnf
