Hi all,

Has anyone had success in installing a Hylafax server to receive and send faxes?
I am wating to replace a Windows server that has a high cost.
If someone has the time to assist it would be appreciated.

I have a reasonable experience with Linux/Debian at a base level.

I have installed Debian and Hylafax onto a PC and using WHFC to connect to the fax queue from my client.
I can see the faxes waiting to be sent fine.

The Modem attached via the Com port ttyS0, there is only the one port.
Model: 1456VQE.

I ran through the faxaddmodem and faxsetup wizard and completed.

The message I receive when typing in faxstat is:
HylaFAX scheduler on hylafax: Running
Modem ttyS0 (+64.9.888.8888): Waiting for modem to come ready

Any help anyone can assist me with would be greatly appreciated.

Doesn't seem to be anyone familiar with this Hylax system on the net.
